Poster Submission Guidelines – HABA

Title: All submissions must include a title of no more than 15 words or 200 characters. The title should follow APA title case format and avoid using end punctuation or quotations. Please spell out all acronyms for the reader.

Abstract: All submissions must include an abstract of between 150 and 200 words, following APA style guidelines. The abstract should include an early statement of topic relevance, brief description of the research methods and results, and the potential impact of the research when applicable.

Supporting Graph or Table (Poster presentation only): All data-based submission should include a graphic representation of the data, though data collection does not need to be complete at the time of submission. All data should be presented in APA format and limited to a single page. If the submission represents a project that has not entered the data collection phase at the time of submission, please include a timeline for entering that phase of the study.

Presenting Author: Each submission needs a presenting author. Any co-authors can be listed on the submission and may be with the poster or present in the presentation at the conference. Please list all authors and their affiliations. The presenting author will be the point of contact and should include an email address for contact from HABA regarding the submission.

Submission Review: Review of submitted poster or presentations will be conducted by a blind review panel and rated on the merits of the included information. A summary of the feedback from will be distributed to each submitter in the acceptance notification email.

Poster Requirements: Accepted poster submissions should be no larger than 36” by 48” to fit within the constraints of the conference display boards. Clips will be provided to the presenters at the conference
